May Meeting Recap

We met on May 11 at Pennington Quilt Works and online via zoom. This was our first time having an in-person meeting since March of 2020. Attendance was about half and half for in-person and online.

Our meeting in June will also be at PQW, and we are looking for a volunteer to run the zoom for that date. Please email us or comment on Groupworks if you would like to do this! Reminder that your 2021 Block Studies sewalong quilts are due at this meeting (must be finished and bound!) for a chance to win a prize.

There are still openings for our July 16th online workshop on Walk 2.0 with Jacquie Gering. On June 1, the workshop will be opened to non-members.

This month we played a quilty themed game of Never Have I Ever, and Mada and Christine won fat quarters.

February 2022 Meeting Recap

Hello friends! We have been meeting online via zoom since early 2020. It has been difficult to write meeting recap posts, but we think we have a method now :)

In February, we welcomed our new board: co-presidents Gay and Mary-Ellen, secretary Kathleen, and treasurer Jenny. Thank you for volunteering to keep our guild going!

Some announcements:

In breakout rooms, we discussed our favorite pattern designers. Everybody agrees that there's nothing like a really well-written pattern!
