April 2022 Meeting Recap

On April 13, we had another meeting online via zoom.

First, some announcements for members to note:

2021's Block Study Sewalong finished quilts are due at the June meeting, and there will be a prize drawing!

Signups for our workshop with Jacquie Gering will open soon. We will also be sending out a survey about workshops/lectures in the 2023 year soon.

Our next meeting will be held in person at Pennington Quilt Works on May 11th.

For our May meeting:

Polaroid Block Swap: check Groupworks for the instructions on how to make this block! Get a ticket for every block you bring for a chance to win a bundle of blocks to take home with you.

Walk/Walk 2.0 QAL: Marked Curves from Walk.

We had a guest lecture from Cindy Grisdela on the Anatomy of an Improv Quilt. She spoke about her process for creating cohesive quilts without a pattern and showed many examples. You can view her website at CindyGrisdela.com and follow her on Instagram @cindygrisdelaquilts
