January meeting recap

We met on January 10 at Pennington Quilt Works.

The outgoing board would like to thank all the volunteers who help run the guild. The new board was voted in. Sandy and Lori will be co-presidents, Cathy B will be the treasurer, and Peggy will be the secretary. We are still looking for volunteers to take over certain tasks. Email the guild if you are interested in more information.

Quilts from the 2023 improv QAL are due at the March meeting.

December meeting (party!) recap

We met at Hopewell Presbyterian Church for a potluck!

A great big thank you to all of our board members and the volunteer coordinators that keep our guild going. We will introduce our new board in 2024!

We had a delicious potluck, a vinyl bag swap, and some door prizes. See below the cut for photos!

November Meeting Recap

We met on zoom in November to facilitate a lecture from Patricia Belyea of Okan Arts! Patricia shared her creative approach to developing new ideas for original quilt designs. She discussed and showed examples of her news series, Big Grids with Inserted Curves, made with vintage Japanese yukata cottons and other global fabrics. Please visit OkanArts.com for more information about her work (and maybe buy some fabric while you're there).
