- Fill out your Handmade Gift Exchange form and bring it this coming Tuesday (our December meeting), so that we can exchange in January!
First, little old me did a (what was meant to be relatively short but ended up quite long) presentation about the quilty blogosphere on the internet. I highlighted several blogs that may be of interest to the modern quilting crowd (all links mentioned can be found here, or under the "Links" tab at the top of this page). Don't forget to check out the blogroll on the right sidebar, which features our very own members!
Jessica L. did a Quilt Market recap with some giveaways, woohoo! Thanks, Jess! She also showed us this great video which summarizes Quilt Market, and features many of our favorite fabric designers.
Swap:
We swapped potholders made throughout the month before! Participants were asked to make them modern. Hopefully, those will be put to good use during the holiday season :)
Spotlight:
We got to see several quilts made by Kathleen Stanish. (there will be more of an explanation when I post the pictures!)
Finally, we had show and tell - one of our favorite parts of the meeting, I think it's safe to say!
