One Simple Wish

On Wednesday, May 18, One Simple Wish received quilts from the Central Jersey Modern Quilt Guild. Stephanie accepted the quilts from Janneke to place in their new updated One Simple Wish World and are ready to be used at the offical opening on June 4th. More quilts were stored to be given to foster kids on their way to new homes.

May Meeting Recap

Our May meeting began with announcements of some upcoming events, including the June sewcial and meeting and the fall retreat at Hyatt House. Members should look on BigTent for more information about the events and invitations to join.

A new bee with medium/large, simple blocks began this month, so next month we'll have photos to share of the first round. Thanks to Michele for organizing the bee.

Bee: Participants brought in Neva's blocks, which were based on Elizabeth Hartman's modern mosaic. Kristina handed out her packets for next month.
