RSVP here for our September meeting!
Tues. Sept. 10, 7-9:30 pm at Pennington Quilt Works
At this meeting we will:
- have a demonstration by Carol Esch on a wonky star block
- swap mug rugs (essentially small quilted placemats about the size of a large postcard)
- share our blocks for the guild banner
- demo on the new MQG website
- go over general business
- show & tell and brainstorming
Reminder: We now have a freebie table
where you can donate unwanted fabric, notions, etc. All fabric should
be quilter's cotton and please don't bring any really large items
(remember someone has to bring home what's left) or any junk.
Also,
remember we will not be having a regular meeting in October. That meeting
will be a lecture/workshop by Barbara Persing on machine quilting from 6-10 pm.
