General Business
-Talk to Jessica Levitt if you would like to teach a 10-30 minute demo/lesson at one of our meetings! You will receive a $10 gift card to Pennington Quilt Works in return.
-The Sewcial was successful - looking for more times/places in the future.
-The Denyse Schmidt lecture and workshops were very successful - we may have a post on this in the future! You can see some of the pictures in our flickr group (link on sidebar).
-Keep updated with BigTent! All of our events, meetin minutes, etc. are posted there, and you can use the message board.
-Finally, keep up to date with our blog! Modern Mondays will continue but will be postponed for this week due to my being on vacation.

-Quilters Take Manhattan - 9/15
-Possible Kaffe Fasset workshop on 10/7 (my wedding date! hehe. Guess I can't come though!).
The Meeting
-Members of the guild swapped pouches of all sizes and colors.
-Robin gave us a tutorial and practice with hand embroidery. The challenge for July is to finish that or bring in any hand embroidery you have done.
-For July meeting: bring in samples of batting; we will discuss brands and types.
