The meeting:

-I was unable to be present at the meeting, but I am going off of the minutes and the accounts of fellow members! We started off by talking about when the last time we sewed was, and what we had been making. An interesting question for sure, because I'm prepared to bet that many people had sewn that weekend, and probably even that day!

-Next, we shared our favorite quilting books. I am told that there was a mixture of both modern and traditional books, and that many titles were mentioned and passed around. Definitely educational!

-For this month's last month's challenge, members had to create something with their half square triangles (HSTs), which were swapped and discussed at the April meeting. The second challenge was to make a mini quilt (so, technically, you could fulfill both challenge with a HST mini quilt :) )

Here are some pictures from the challenge:

June Meeting:
-Swap: A pouch of any size, or a small bag. Can't wait to see these!
-Robin Buscemi will be teaching embroidery - PLEASE RSVP to the meeting so that there are enough kits (you do not have to bring supplies).

Yay! See you June 12! And watch out for a special post on Monday...
