(This is a repost, apparently Blogger decided to eat the original post, so I have to rewrite it.)
First we would like to remind members of a few things. Finished quilts from the 2017 Bees (including Guild Bee, NewBee, and Summer Bee) are due at the June meeting. Quilts for our 2018 Pantone Color of the Year challenge are due at the August meeting. Signups are now open for Janet's bag workshop on August 25, please give or mail checks to Christine to reserve your spot.
First up, the Modern FMQ Quilt-A-Long. This month's theme was swirls and spirals, including woodgrain and squared motifs.
Then the beautiful quilts of Show and Tell!
Our challenge for this month was Dot Fabric Table Runners
And finally, this month the Guild Bee made blocks for Christine:

Modern FMQ QAL: May
Welcome to Month 5 of the Modern Free Motion Quilt Along! We are making "Swirls and Spirals" this month. This theme is an extension of last month; everyone is getting so much practice with curves! It can be tricky to achieve smooth curves, but if that is your goal, it will come with practice. Promise!
Whether you're a guild member or quilting along at home, please check the Google Doc for tutorial links. We've had a very high participation rate at our guild meetings! Yay! Check out the April meeting recap, written by Maggie, for some pictures.
It's free to join in! Click here to read all the info, and look forward to the June theme being released very soon.
