June meeting recap

Hello June! We are back again, with another meeting recap post full of lovely work by our talented members.

Finished quilts from last year's round of the NewBee were due at this meeting. Great job, NewBee!


Finished quilts from our 2016 Patchwork City Quilt-A-Long were also due. Nice work!

Laura B. volunteered to do a Member Spotlight at this meeting, where she shared pieces from her quilting journey, and talked about the things she has learned, and the way her style has evolved. Here are a few selections.

Please accept my profuse apologies on the lateness of this recap post! Our next meeting is.. tomorrow night. Life got in the way.

Reminders for members: registration for upcoming workshops and our retreat is ongoing, please check Bigtent for details. We need your Pantone challenge quilts for exhibitions, so please bring them in at the June meeting if you haven't yet. And finally, we voted to have a meeting in July, so we'll see you on the 10th!

At this meeting, finished 2016 Guild Bee quilts were due! Most of these had already been brought in for Show and Tell, so we chose not to photograph them again. But here's Neva's!
