Bee: Bee participants brought in their blocks for Janneke
Patchwork City QAL: QAL participants showed some of their first blocks and were entered in a drawing for two fat quarters from Elizabeth Hartman's collection.
Lori S. got impatient and made a whole small quilt from her QAL blocks so far. Great job!
Challenge: The challenge for this month was to make a 12.5" churn dash block for a mini quilt.
The swap was spring-themed small print fabric. The swappers did the exchange at the break.
Demo: After the break, Jessica L. gave a demo on quilting possibilities for the churn dash blocks. She suggested drawing on paper copies of the blocks to work out the quilting patterns. The challenge for next month will be to bring in the quilted churn dash minis.
